They fixed a couple of minor bits with the car within the warranty period really quickly, and I have since been back for my MOT, and will be using them from now on. Genuine and honest people- can't recommend enough :)

We bought a car recently from Whitegate Motors. Peter and the team couldn't have been more helpful. We had a test drive of the car and then agreed a really good price, there were a few bits and pieces that needed to be sorted out on the car which Peter agreed to have sorted out within the price, they also serviced and MoT'd the car (for 12 months) as well at no extra cost!. When we came to pick up the car it was cleaned and valeted to a very high standard, we even got a complimentary bottle of wine!. I couldn't recommend this garage highly enough!

This is my second car purchased from Whitegate motors.
The PX value of my previous car was not as good as I thought it should be, but my replacement car is covered by warranty and the all round service is in my opinion very good.

I don't think there's anything bad to say about Whitegate Motors, Peter and his team have gone above and beyond for me, I had a slight issue with my brakes, and it was ongoing both me and Peter couldn't quite pin point the problem, however Peter resolved the issue in the end and replaced the whole brakes😁 I couldn't be happier with the result and how they dealt with the issue, I will be taking the car back for all its servicing and maintenance in future, I couldn't think of a more honest garage to be handing my car to as I know it will be in good hands, Whitegate motors will now be my go to garage from now on👏

From initial contact all staff were very helpful and transparent about the car I was interested in. As I was unable to personally view the vehicle, I relied on their descriptions and opinions. Peter provided lots of photographs and a video detailing everything I asked about. He had personal knowledge of the car's history and advised me of everything that had been serviced or overhauled. Anything I requested checking was inspected and replaced if deemed necessary. He also had several items changed and improved at his own discretion. Delivery was arranged and carried out very smoothly. Just after delivery, a sensor failed and after advising Peter, he reimbursed me immediately for the cost of repair at my local garage.
Peter and his team are a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble to ensure that I received the best product they could possibly deliver. I would recommend them to anyone.

Good van but slight niggling problems !
We live in Cumbria and travelled down to Burnley to see the vehicle.
Had a test drive and paid a deposit .
Went the next week to collect . Got back home and 1 of the set of keys would not lock the vehicle . According to the garage it worked when with them ?.
Had to bring the following week which was an inconvenience, but found a cable in the door had frayed and now having problem with the radio not working through the speakers and the sliding door handle now coming loose and can't can't keep going down to Burnley to repair .
We Replied- Sorry you are having problems but we will always look at any issues you have, the van is 10 years old and unfortunately they go wrong at that age with no warning, We repaired the initial fault and would gladly look at these faults if you bring it back to us , Regards Peter

I've always been cautious around new or used car dealers, but Peter is not a used car salesman - Peter is a gentleman, proper old school honesty & integrity, who sells cars. Nothing was too much trouble even on a Bank Holiday. We purchased a 2018 Vauxhall Insignia from Peter at Whitegate Motors. We basically agreed to buy unseen and arranged delivery for about a week later, at a very reasonable price I might add, but unfortunately a fault was found with the car. The second the fault was found I was contacted and all options were transparent. The fault was fixed and we were offered a new delivery date or the ability to collect it. We collected the car, test drove it and it was more than perfect! Photos did not do it justice and Peter was extremely friendly and professional during our visit, he even showed us the fault repair and explained the issue. We found the showroom very clean and inviting and everyone we saw acted friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend them and be more than happy to purchase another car unseen from them in the future. 5 star service!!

All my communications took place during the lock-down. I saw the car I wanted in Autotrader and speedily agreed on a trade-in for my current vehicle. Whitegates arranged finance for me, filled the form in and sent it to me to sign. I signed and returned it, the approval was given by the finance house, and the vehicle exchange was arranged. Whitegates delivered the car on a transporter and collected mine after going thru' the operation of the new car. The whole experience comprised minimal hassle and maximum efficiency. I had reservations as I was based in Coventry and Whitegates were based in Burnley, but it never became a problem. I'd be happy to trade with them again.

Bought a lovely Peugeot RCZ last October from Whitegate motors, they were fantastic to deal with, a really friendly, family run business. They gave me a great trade in for my hard to value Citroen C4 aircross and were a pleasure to do business with. Four months on and the RCZ is running like a dream and has been tested driving all round Scotland the weekend after buying it. Cannot recommend this garage highly enough.

We rang at the beginning of Lockdown......and were offered a no commitment delivery within 3 days! The p-ex was very fair and we were happy with the deal. The car was delivered on time, social distancing well observed. We have only found one item a bit off putting since our delivery (some damage to the rear of the rear seat.) Mechanically as promised, paperwork all present and correct. An excellent experience.

Excellent company to do business with. I felt very comfortable with this dealer. They gave me good information and plenty of time to make my mind up without being pressurised in any way. I got a good chance to test drive my choice of car in town and on the motorway so I could really get the feel of it. Very friendly, made buying so easy. I bought a car from Whitegate Motors last year. From the very start of the buying process the team were brilliant. When I got the car home there were a few issues I had with the car (not the garage's fault). I rang them immediately and they came and collected the car from me within two days (I live over 50 miles away) and brought me a courtesy car. In the end the car needed over one thousand pounds worth of parts to get it fixed. At no point did the garage try to blame myself for any of the issues that had arisen and they did not try and make me pay any costs. My car was then delivered back to me in perfect condition with sincere apologies from the garage and the courtesy car taken away. This service is so hard to find nowadays. To do business with them was a pleasure and my next car will be bought from them. They should be proud of what a fantastic garage they have and their ethical trading. A million thanks.

What a great experience! Went to view a car that had just been uploaded to Autotrader that they had taken in part ex. The car was in their other lockup and they went out of their way to take me to view it and test drive it. There was no pushy salesman, I took it for a good drive and we agreed on the sale. The car had a couple of mot advisories and these were all taken care of. Upon inspection the garage found a few issues with the car and these were all sorted out with no expense to myself. They made sure the car was in tip top mechanical condition. How many garages do that? The car was fully valeted and even a bottle of wine was thrown in. 5 stars to a proper honest garage and many thanks to John who took control of the sale and made sure the car was spot on!!! Highly recommended.

I recently purchased a 2009 plate Mini from Whitegate Motors and had excellent service from start to finish. Buying cars is usually a fairly unenjoyable experience and hearing salesmen tell me that 'it's the best drive on the forecourt' etc only adds to the feeling of frustration. Fortunately I had none of that at Whitegate Motors. The whole process was friendly and helpful and gave me absolute confidence that I was dealing with a really professional and trustworthy company. Next time I change motors, I'll definitely take a look at Whitegate to see if they have anything in stock that suits. Thank you - great service. Recommended.
